Concorso Internazionale di Vetro artistico e Design :: Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte

The Castello Sforzesco in Milan, in collaboration with collector Sandro Pezzoli (who has always promoted glass-related initiatives) and with the support of Enrico Bersellini, Matteo Seguso, Aristide Najean and Silvia Levenson organized the International Art Glass and Design Competition. The enrolments are opened until December 30th. The international competition offers a vision on the innovative way of working glass, both in art and design. The choice of Milan and of Castello Sforzesco intends to express the importance of the city as central pole in glass design.

All the apprentices of "Una Scuola, un Lavoro. Percorsi di Eccellenza” – the historic Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d'Arte training internship project now in its 13th edition – are now at work! All over Italy, the photographer Peter Elovich, through his original shots, is collecting visual testimonies of the young protagonists at work, eager to "steal with their eyes and hands" the craft from their mentors and masters in this six-month apprenticeship.
