After successful iterations in Milan, Spilimbergo and Stra, the photo exhibition "La regola del talento" is now being hosted at a new destination, the Royal Palace of Caserta, a sumptuous 18th-century residence and a Unesco World Heritage Site.
On the formidable premises of the Reggia di Caserta, visitors are welcome from 2 March to 2 May 2018 to admire the photographs taken by Laila Pozzo for the book La regola del talento – Mestieri d'arte e Scuole italiane di eccellenza, published by Marsilio in 2014.
The display will be inaugurated on Friday 2 March from 10:30 to 12:30 with a round table titled Saper fare, design e innovazione, formulated for schools and professionals involved in training young people in different types of craftsmanship. The initiative is organised under the patronage of Fondazione Bracco.
The discussion will be moderated by the Director of the Cologni Foundation, Alberto Cavalli. The guest speakers are experts from cultural and educational institutions: Mauro Felicori, the director of the Reggia di Caserta, Chiara Marciani, councillor for education of the regional government of Campania, Vincenzo Giannotti, the president of Il Tarì, Giuseppe Casillo, the president of Tarì Design School, Cristina Misiti, supervisor at the Italian Ministry of Education, Paolo Crisostomi, teacher of restoration and conservation of cultural heritage, member of the board of directors of the Reggia di Caserta, and Andrea Maria Romano, the director of Tarì Design School.
After the round table, a guided visit to the photograph exhibition at the Royal Palace will take place. For the entire duration of the exhibition, local schools will have the opportunity to participate in goldsmithing workshops organised by Tarì Design School.
