The Cologni Foundation for the Métiers d’Art presented Paolo Colombo’s book “Le Esposizioni Universali. I mestieri d'arte sulla scena del mondo (1851-2010)” in Rome, at the Senate of the Italian Republic. The book was published by Marsilio Editori in the “Ricerche” series, and produced thanks to the support from the Fondazione Cariplo and the Fondazione Germozzi.

The Italian Senate was the prestigious setting for a debate among authoritative personalities on the function of the artistic crafts within the Universal Expositions.
