The deadline for submissions for the La Grande Bellezza by Starhotels Award – “Il bello dell’utile” has been extended to 15 January 2026 at 8:00 pm. The award is open to artisans resident and regularly working in Italy. Entries must be original, contemporary creations, made entirely or partially by hand, in accordance with the criteria of excellence in craftsmanship. Works in any material or technique are eligible, including pieces already part of existing collections.

A prestigious jury, chaired by Elisabetta Fabri, President and CEO of Starhotels, and composed of experts in design, applied arts and culture, will select ten finalists and announce the winner, who will receive a cash prize of €10,000. The award is the result of the collaboration between the Florentine hotel group Starhotels, Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte ETS, OmA – Osservatorio dei Mestieri d’Arte, and Gruppo Editoriale.
