Young Craft Booster is moving steadily forward and has now entered its third and final year. As the 2025/2026 edition unfolds, the programme continues to strengthen its educational dimension: the multilingual e-learning platform youngcraftbooster.eu has expanded significantly, now offering 84 training contents available in Italian, Spanish and English, accessible to all participants across the partner countries.

As foreseen by the programme, apprentices were selected through open calls launched in each country. Chosen on merit and talent, they began their journey with high-level classroom training courses specifically designed for the artistic craftsmanship sector. Through seminars dedicated to entrepreneurship, professional development and communication strategies, they acquired the theoretical foundations necessary to launch their own sustainable ventures, as well to successfully enter the job market, at the end of the experience.
They are now immersed in the core of the programme: six-month hands-on apprenticeships alongside master craftspeople.

In Ireland, Adrienne Diamond and Fiona Byrne are integrating sculptural experimentation with sustainable studio practices in glass, while Suzanne O’Sullivan and Emeline Mézières are developing innovative glass fusing techniques using recycled materials, expanding the environmental dimension of their craft.

All participants will meet in Venice in September 2026 for dedicated networking activities, coinciding with the final meeting of the project. This closing gathering will mark not only the conclusion of a three-year European journey, but the beginning of new professional paths shaped by shared learning, craftsmanship and international connection.
