The 2025 edition of DIT – Design in Town, in Troia (Foggia), once again this year confirms itself as Europe’s most important summer camp for orientation in the disciplines of design and creativity, and concludes with the active participation of 180 students, aged 14 to 19, from both Italy and abroad. Fondazione Cologni is once again a partner in supporting the project; among the actions taken, the special lecture by Alberto Cavalli on the theme “Italian beauty in danger”.

Design in Town enjoys the support of important cultural institutions such as Triennale Milano, Fondazione Cologni Mestieri d'Arte and Fondazione Castiglioni. Six projects linked to the territory were realised, transformed into twelve exhibitions, in the Apulian town of Troia. The townspeople also played a leading role in the project, providing the students with the right guidance and food for thought. On the evening of Sunday 22 July, in Piazza Santa Croce, there was an engaging lecture by Alberto Cavalli: “First of all, we must love our territory, recognise ourselves in it and in its traditions, we must understand what sustainable innovations are needed, which improve the quality of life and renew the traditions that give meaning to acting, producing and dreaming”.

Thanks to Fondazione Cologni and local supporters, 12 scholarships for deserving students were granted to cover the full participation fee for the summer camp.
The thirteenth edition will take place from 8 June to 19 July 2026. Registration is now open:
