December the enrollments for the International Competition of Paper
will be opened. This event was started in 2004 to promote tradition,
culture, sustainability and innovation through the art and design
world, and now has reached its 9th
edition.
In
every edition the Biennial renews its invitation to national and
international artists and designers to meet inside the Lucca city
walls. This year’s theme is “Caos and Silence” and three are
the calls: indoor, outdoor and design. The projects that show the use
of paper in the most original way will be awarded. The winners will
showcase their artworks in different locations in Lucca.
