On the evening of Wednesday 10 December 2025, in the Bertarelli Study Room at Castello Sforzesco in Milan, the volume “Le arti applicate in Lombardia nell’Ottocento. Artisti, collezionisti, esposizioni e musei” was presented. The book forms part of the Ricerche series by Fondazione Cologni, published with Marsilio Editori, and is edited by Marco Albertario, Roberta D’Adda, Lavinia Galli and Francesca Tasso.

The volume brings together the papers and testimonies from the 2024 Study Days of the Rete dell’800 Lombardo, coordinated by Fondazione Brescia Musei and supported by Regione Lombardia. Held in Milan on 22 and 23 October at the Museo Poldi Pezzoli and Castello Sforzesco, the meetings explored nineteenth-century production and collecting, while promoting knowledge of Lombardy’s artistic heritage.

“We are particularly pleased and honoured to take part, in such a meaningful venue, in the presentation of this new book, which we were delighted to include in our Ricerche editorial series with Marsilio. As has happened before, the series has become the home of the Proceedings of a highly important conference. Publishing such in-depth studies is a fundamental action, one that is not always pursued, to the serious detriment of our collective memory,” said Alessandra de Nitto, Editorial and Events Director of Fondazione Cologni, among the speakers at the event.
