From 19 to 29 October, in the magnificent backdrop of the Venetian lagoon, the  Venice Fashion Week will propose a rich calendar of events, fashion shows, and visits to ateliers and craft workshops. The event is committed to maintaining the debate on sustainable fashion in Venice, supporting new generations of designers and promoting master artisans with international collaborations. As part of the Venice Fashion Week ecosystem, the Cologni Foundation has given its patronage to Atelier Aperti, an invitation to discover the beauty and quality of handmade products among the calli and sestieri: from innovative weaving mills to tailoring workshops, from design studios to natural dyeing and decoration workshops, from sustainable designers to local master artisans.

Created and organized by Venezia da Vivere, the event was first launched in Venice in 2013 in order to promote the value of fine craftsmanship for future generations. The latest addition is Ornamenti, the design and artisanal accessories exhibition at Palazzo Sagredo, presenting handmade accessories like bags, hats, jewellery, ceramics, Murano glass, and fabrics.
