Fondazione Cologni presents on its portal unascuolaunlavoro.it the stories and images of the twenty-four apprenticeships activated throughout Italy as part of its project, now in its thirteenth year. Nasrin Abbasi and Peter Elovich, the photographers who visited all the ateliers involved, show us the enthusiasm and dedication to the craft of the young artisans, the patience and expert gestures of their tutors and masters.

For the current edition, with the theme “Rarità virtuose: tesori da difendere”, renowned ateliers in many different fields have been selected: goldsmithing and filigree, bowed and plucked stringed instruments lutherie, wood, textile and paper restoration, tailoring, costume, ceramics, footwear, stucco and plaster, mosaic, jacquard weaving and artisan papermaking, bell and porcelain foundry, and wrought iron. “Una Scuola, un Lavoro. Percorsi di Eccellenza” is a project under the patronage of the City of Milan, realized thanks to main partners Fondazione Bracco and Cartier, hospitality partner Starhotels, and the many supporters who make it possible.
