On Saturday, October 11th, 2014, on the occasion of the opening of the academic year, ALMA-La Scuola Internazionale di Cucina Italiana hostes, in the beautiful setting of the Reggia of Colorno, an open meeting day focused on the Schools of excellence and on the Métiers d'Art. From 11:00 a.m., after the welcome greetings of the authorities, the ALMA XI academic year's official opening, will take place with the participation of Gualtiero Marchesi, rector of ALMA, and contributions of managers and teachers of the school.

After that, the round table moderated by Claudio Della Seta, editor in chief of the TG5, "Métiers d'Art, School of excellence and employment in Italy" will take place; at the event will be present: Alberto Cavalli, Director of the Cologni Foundation; Stefano Micelli, Professor of the University Ca' Foscari of Venice; Gian Piero Brovedani, Director of the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli; Andrea Romano, Director of the TADS, Tarì Design School; Marco di Luccio, FAI-Fondo Ambiente Italiano. During the day, it will possible to visit the workshops curated by some of the italian Schools of excellence.
