The Helvetia & Bristol Firenze - Starhotels Collezione has reopened its doors after an important restoration and modernization phase, a unique and unprecedented operation in the history of the famous luxury hotel chain. The precious collections of objects, furniture and furnishings ranging from the seventeenth to the nineteenth century have been further enhanced with contemporary accents and creations of high craftsmanship, preserving the original nineteenth-century structure of the building.

Elisabetta Fabri, President and CEO of Starhotels, patron and great supporter of Italian artisans, assisted by the partners of the "La Grande Bellezza" project, the Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d'Arte, OMA-Osservatorio dei Mestieri d'Arte and Gruppo Editoriale , has selected excellent artisans from textiles to interior decoration, from metal to glass, to wood and scagliola. The 25 new rooms and suites housed in the “Bristol” wing are the result of the work of the well-known designer Anouska Hempel, who fulfilled the desire of Mrs. Fabri to create a new, surprisingly fascinating hotel.
