As part of the days dedicated to Artigianato&Palazzo, the Florentine kermesse now in its thirtieth year, the Giardino Corsini was the privileged setting for the award ceremony for the third edition of the La Grande Bellezza by Starhotels prize to textile artist Cecilia Rinaldi with Amphora, a circular work that recounts a distant time dating back to Roman times and the regional traditions of an ancient popular culture. The award was presented by Lydia Barbini, Marketing & Communication Director Starhotels.
The biennial competition, created with the aim of rewarding know-how and now in its third edition, is part of the "La Grande Bellezza - The Dream Factory" project, a contemporary patronage initiative promoted by Starhotels in collaboration with Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d'Arte, Associazione OMA - Osservatorio dei Mestieri d'Arte and Gruppo Editoriale. Artigianato&Palazzo hosted the exhibition of creations on the theme Souvenir of the Grand Tour by the ten finalists of the award: Cecilia Rinaldi, Bhumi Ceramica, Doriana Usai, Elia Toffolo, Marcello Aversa, Marcello Chiarenza, Rossocorallo, Mastro Santi Del Sere, Saverio Pastor and Walter Usai.
