A free course for the creation of the Palazzo Litta brandbook: enrolment is open until Saturday 4th February for “A Baroque Bauhaus", a workshop devised for the Lombardy Regional Secretariat of the Ministry of Culture and entrusted to the CorsiArte school under the supervision of Chiara Gatti, art historian, journalist and CorsiArte lecturer, and the academic collaboration of architect Maddalena D'Alfonso. The initiative is part of the broader context of initiatives that Fondazione Cologni has been developing for the enhancement of Palazzo Litta as part of the activities of Fondazione Cologni. The workshop, whose ultimate goal is the creation of a brandbook of Palazzo Litta, will study and research the iconic Milanese building in order to arrive at the design of a graphic image that develops its paradigmatic stylistic elements, applicable to furnishings and fittings, communication, graphics, and artisan collections of excellence. The 25-hour workshop will be developed over three days (21st of February, 15th and 16th March) at Palazzo Litta in Corso Magenta, Milan. CorsiArte lecturers specialised in the history of decorative arts and Visiting Professors from the design field (designers, architects, artists, set designers, photographers), as well as master artisans, will present the possible reinterpretations of the palace in a contemporary key. Participation is limited and reserved for under-35s: graduates, students and undergraduates of two-year specialisation courses (architecture, fine arts, communication, design, etc.), PhD students and researchers from universities (architecture, fine arts, communication, design, etc.), members of professional associations (Ordine Architetti, Adi, Aiap, Aipi, etc.). An opportunity not to be missed!
