Creative Academy, Milan
On January 19th and 20th at the Creative Academy, the school of Design and Creative Management of the Richemont Group, established in Milan in 2003 upon a concept by Franco Cologni, a special Seminar about the Métiers d'Art will take place: the Seminar, organized by the Cologni Foundation, will allow the twenty international students of the School to meet some relevant protagonists of the world of design, fashion and luxury, to investigate the necessary links between creativity and savoir-faire.
On Wednesday January 19th, after an introduction by Alberto Cavalli (General Manager of the Cologni Foundation, and Lifestyle & Luxury Goods Correspondent of the magazine How to spend it Russia), the shoe designers Guillaume Hinfray and Marco Censi will present their experience; after which, Giulia Pessina will illustrate the case of Brioni.
On the 20th, speakers will include architect and designer Ugo La Pietra; designers Nils Svejde and Kyoko Inoda; architect Paola Carimati, journalist at Elle Decor; curators Federica Sala (curator) and Michela Pellizzari (design consultants) of PS Design Consultants.
