Sale Panoramiche Castello Sforzesco, Milan

For the EXPO semester, the Sale Panoramiche of the Castello Sforzesco in Milan, will host the project “Le Mani Sapienti”, created by Fondazione Antonio Carlo Monzino in collaboration and with the support of Cologni Foundation. Masters luthiers will explain the art of instrument making to the young generations through workshops of realisation and restoration of violins, lutes, guitars, with a support of educational videos.
On September 29th and October 20th the Cologni Foundation will also organise two conferences on the theme of historical and contemporary art of making musical instruments.
The Museo del Violino of Cremona will offer its precious collaboration for these events, that will take place in the prestigious premises of the Sala della Balla of the Castello Sforzesco.
