Is it possible to surpass the weak points of our Country through the green economy, and at the same time to trace and connect the best resources in society, economy, politics? Can local institutions and Regional authorities carry out in this process a relevant role?
These are the themes that have animated the Summer Seminary of Symbola Foundation, a national appointment, in the magnificent context of Monterubbiano (MArche Region, central Italy) on July 16th and 17th.
For Italy, more than for other Countries, the so-called "green economy" is an extraordinary opportunity to get out of the crisis and to enhance the best resources of the Country.
"To get out of the crisis is a challenge that Italy can win, if we'll be able to find – in the characteristic features of its productive system – the roots of a bet with future" declares Ermete Realacci, President of the Symbola Foundation. "What emerges from the research that we have presented is the image of an Italy that, despite delays and difficulties, is able to stand with all the contemporary challenges. This is the sense of green economy: the perspective of an economy built around man, that faces environmental issues betting on innovation, research, knowledge".
