Even throughout the year 2012, the Cologni Foundation for the Métiers d’Art has engaged in projects to encourage the awareness and knowledge of artistic crafts among the younger generations.

Creative Academy: two workshops were held at the Creative Academy in 2012. The January seminar on artistic crafts was dedicated to students attending the Master in Design and Applied Arts; the November seminar was dedicated to students from the École des Créateurs d'Entreprise.

Domus Academy: the Cologni Foundation inaugurated the academic year with a lecture on artistic crafts in fashion and luxury goods.

Master EMLUX: Franco Cologni, the Cologni Foundation’s President, and Alberto Cavalli, the Foundation’s Director, delivered lectures at the Master in Management of Luxury Goods run by the Università Cattolica in Milan.

Montblanc: the Cologni Foundation created a training project focused on the knowledge and appreciation of artistic crafts for the managers of Montblanc Italia. The experiment was a great success.

Osservatorio dei Mestieri d’Arte: the Cologni Foundation participated in the introductory lesson of the course for tourist guides specialising in artistic workshops, organised by the “Observatory for Artistic Crafts” in Florence.

Civica Scuola di Liuteria del Comune di Milano: even in 2012, the Cologni Foundation was on the Boards of Examiners who assess student progress in the second and fourth year of the Municipal Violin-Making School of the City of Milan.
