The Fondazione Cologni’s successful ‘Mini Master’, organized in collaboration with prestigious Milanese universities and art schools, has been renewed for the fourth year running. In fact the online lessons for the young people who won the ‘A School, a Job’ contest for the year 2020/21 began in November. For reasons of health security the first three units of the ‘Mini Master’ course have been held online: taught in the first week by professors from Milan Polytechnic, the trainees tackled the theme of personal branding and presentation of their own portfolio. With the second unit, devoted to management of the micro-enterprise and marketing, the students, accompanied with professional competence by teachers from the SDA Bocconi, have studied marketing mix and accounts.

Communication is fundamental for an artisan and the future apprentices have been introduced to the basics of a correct promotion of themselves and their work by the lecturers of IULM with the third unit. Then the first series of meetings was brought to a close with the course on safety and health in the workplace, given by the staff of IndirizzoAmbiente. The appointment with the final unit of the ‘Mini Master’ course has been postponed to July, when it will be possible for the participants to be introduced to the history of the applied and decorative arts through face-to-face lessons and visits to the principal museums of Milan, conducted by the qualified instructors of Scuola Corsi Arte. While they wait to be taken on by a workshop, we wish them a happy and fruitful learning experience.
