Research in the area of the culture of ‘women’s’ design, united with that of female artisans, skilled in the use of the most diverse materials, has always gone hand in hand with the activity of the association DcomeDesign.
For Milan Design Week 2021, it is calling on all female designers with a curious and inventive turn of mind to come up with a teacup. A hundred works by 100 women designers will be selected and put on show from 5 to 10 September 2021 at Marieda di Stefano’s Ceramics Workshop in the Casa Museo Boschi di Stefano in Milan.
Some special guests have already been invited to propose a designer cup of their own: they include Alessandra Baldereschi, Gabriella Benedini, Annalisa Cocco, Caterina Crepax, Laura Fiaschi, Daniela Gerini, Silvia Levenson, Chiara Lorenzetti, Antonella Ravagli, Elena Salmistraro, Marta Sansoni, Annarita Serra, Sabrina Sguanci and Angela Simone.
You have until 17 May to take part in the selection by writing to associazione@dcomedesign.org and submitting the materials required.
