On the website dedicated to the project “Una Scuola, un Lavoro. Percorsi di eccellenza”, the profiles of the apprentices selected for the 2022/2023 edition are now available. The faces and histories of the 25 young protagonists can thus be discovered: among these master artisans of tomorrow, some come from countries such as France, Estonia, Romania, Venezuela and Perù and have found in Italy a fertile ground in which to study and learn the job of their dreams.

Photographer Peter Elovich, an expert ‘eye’ for capturing manual gestures, has travelled around Italy to discover hidden and fascinating ateliers where the young talents, accompanied by their tutors on a training course, are honing their knowhow and testing out what it is like to work in an atelier or a manufacture.

One of the objectives of this project is to cultivate the artisans of the future, by offering to many skilled masters the opportunity to train an apprentice who can learn the secrets of the trade and assist them in their work. From goldsmithing to tailoring, from restoration to the performing arts, from art foundry to ceramics, up to the crafts of fine cooking: each of the stories now available on unascuolaunlavoro.it will be a pill of passion in which every apprentice reveals hopes and dreams.
