The Sala della Balla at the Sforza Castle in Milan hosted the second conference dedicated to violin-making, organised by the Cologni Foundation with the Violin Museum of Cremona. The conference is part of the project "Le mani sapienti" (Skilled hands), supported by the Fondazione Antonio Carlo Monzino.
The theme of the conference was contemporary patronage in the fields of music and violin-making. Marco Carminati, journalist of the daily newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore, moderated the debate.
