On the occasion of Milan's Salone del Mobile 2018, the students of Creative Academy, the Milan-based Richemont Group's international design school, are working under the direction of Alberto Nespoli and Domenico Rocca from Eligo on a project aimed at establishing a dialogue between a Master and a young designer.

The theme they have chosen for this year's installation is “Noah's Ark”: a symbol of universality, chosen to highlight the universal approach of the school, now in its 15th year.

“Ark&Craft Creative Academy-Contemporary design on ceramic” will be on display in the prestigious garden of Milan's Triennale, near The Mysterious Baths Fountain by Giorgio de Chirico, in a game of ongoing cross-references between past and future.

This year, the students tried their hand at ceramics and decoration, mentored by two extraordinary coaches: Costanza Paravicini and Benedetta Medici, from Milan's Laboratorio ceramico Paravicini.

A voyage on rough seas, like Noah's, becomes the symbol of the young apprentices' challenging yet necessary process leading from studentship to professional design.
