Since 2014, the Cologni Foundation actively participates in round tables promoted amongst the signatories of the International Charter of Artistic Craftsmanship to discuss issues related to training in the field of artistic crafts.

The initiative was advocated by Patrizia Maggia, Director of MAC-Mestieri d’Arte Contemporanei in Biella, where the first round table on the subject was held in June 2014.

Other significant meetings have taken place thanks to the hospitality of participating members: the OMA-Osservatorio dei Mestieri d’Arte organised the second meeting in October, at the headquarters of the Ente Cassa di Risparmio in Florence; the Cologni Foundation held a meeting at Villa Necchi Campiglio in Milan, a property owned and run by FAI-Fondo Ambiente Italiano; in May 2016 the fourth round table took place at the castle of Episcopio in Grottaglie; in October 2016 the fifth meeting was held at the Duca di Martina Museum in Naples, in collaboration with I Love Pompei and the Associazione Pandora Artiste Ceramiste.

The meetings are attended by training specialists, representatives of the Ministry of Labour and ISFOL, applied arts teachers, representatives of the Associations, Foundations and signatories of the International Charter of Artistic Craftsmanship, members of trade associations, artisans and other experts in the field.
