The call for tender for the project supported by Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte “A School, a Job. Training to Excellence”, training internships for tomorrow’s young Master craftsmen, is now open.
For the 2019/2020 edition, the Foundation will select 25 candidates within the applications sent by Italian schools of art and crafts by 30 September 2019. Recent diploma holders and newly qualified graduates will be able to attend a four-week course developed with prestigious educational schools and universities in Milan, later following a remunerated extracurricular vocational training alongside experienced Master craftsmen.
The theme of the coming edition is “Italian Passions” in accordance with President Franco Cologni’s words: “The passion for custom-made excellence is born in districts that cannot be exported or replicated anywhere else, as they are deeply connected to an area or to a unique story on Earth”. Fondazione Cologni, therefore, aims at paying tribute to the beauty of Italy by supporting the savoir-faire that conveys the identity of its territories and the precious heritage of each Region, arousing the passion and predilections of many cultivated collectors, and the imagination of lovers of beauty worldwide.
