On 4 and 5 February last, on the premises of Cometa (Como), craft workshops of bookbinding organized by the Fondazione Cologni were held by artisans from the historic Milanese bottega ‘Conti Borbone’.

On Monday 4 June 2018, an emotion-filled ceremony took place in the Salone d'Onore at the Triennale di Milano. In the presence of a tightly packed audience, the Maestro d'Arte e Mestiere organisation bestowed its title, Master of Arts and Crafts, on 77 maestri. In the festive and at times moving atmosphere of this second edition of the award, the new recipients were applauded warmly by a public from Milan and beyond. They had come to the Triennale to render homage to the talent and inimitable skill of our great artisans.
As part of its initiative "Art Deserves More Space", the Poldi Pezzoli museum is hosting a Porcelain Festival during the months of May and June, featuring a cycle of events for adults and children.

Wellmade and Brevimano have launched the first instalment of the competition Artigiano del Cuore. The search is on for the background stories of artisans in two categories: "Furnishing and Decorating" and "Dressing and Adorning".
