Until 30 September it will be possible to visit, at the Fondazione Made in Cloister in Naples, the exhibition Collezione Bottega, a project by Design Artigianale launched in 2015 during the restoration of the cloister of Santa Caterina a Formiello. The exhibition presents objects made in limited runs that blend contemporary creativity with skilled traditional craftsmanship, fruit of the encounter of artists and designers from a range of different countries with the area of Porta Capuana and the experience of the artisans of Campania Region. The exhibition comprises works handcrafted by Italian and foreign artists who have passed through the cloister and embellished the exhibition space with their creations. The important dialogue between the different ways in which designers and artisans think has produced contemporary and fascinating results in Collezione Bottega, while remaining within the bounds of tradition. The project, developed and realised by Made in Cloister, has seen the collaboration of Fondazione Cologni, which has always promoted and supported the Italian Metiers d’Art.
