The "Poldi Pezzoli Ateliers", the crafts workshops for adults created by Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d'Arte in a collaboration with Milan’s Poldi Pezzoli Museum, will soon start again.
The “AD HOC” project, “Strategies to prevent early-school leaving”, selected by the social enterprise “Con i Bambini” (Standing with Children), coordinated by Cometa Formazione and co-financed by Fondazione De Agostini, is successfully being carried forward.
From July 22nd through August 3rd 2019, MADE LABS – the summer school program of the Rosario Gagliardi Academy of Fine Arts – will take place in Siracusa, Sicily, encompassing 9 workshops, 2 symposia and 13 conferences.
The call for tender for the project supported by Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte “A School, a Job. Training to Excellence”, training internships for tomorrow’s young Master craftsmen, is now open.

The stories of the apprentices of the project “A School, a Job. Training to Excellence”, promoted and supported by Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte, are now online. The project, now in its seventh year, allowed nearly 200 young people to learn the trade in a workshop, alongside great master artisans.
The Chair of Milan's Politecnico Faculty of Design, dedicated to "Italian Beauty" and supported by Fondazione Cologni, has been renewed for the 2018-2019 academic year.

25 years from the historical conference which took place in February 1995 in Milan’s Triennale, Fondazione Cologni is now promoting a new important meeting curated by Ugo La Pietra and Alberto Cavalli: a full day dedicated to exploring the discipline area of the applied arts within Italy’s art crafts, internationally referred to as “decorative arts” or “craft”,
After the success of the first Atelier with master woodcarver Renato Olivastri, the educational workshops for adults created by the Poldi Pezzoli Museum in Milan in collaboration with Fondazione Cologni will be continued.

The Poldi Pezzoli Ateliers are dedicated to artisans’ workshops for adults, born out of a fruitful collaboration between the Milanese Museum and Fondazione Cologni.
On 20 March, at 10.30, in what was formerly Francesco Hayez' studio, now hall 48, in Brera Academy of Fine Arts, Ugo La Pietra's new book "Fatto ad arte. Né arte né design" (promoted by Fondazione Cologni, and published by Marsilio) will be presented within the framework of "Incontri con l'Arte", curated by Sergio Nannicola and Marco Pellizzola.
The yearly award granted by Paris' Centre du Luxe et de la Création to 10 specially outstanding talents within the selected categories (Audacity, Well-Being, Elegance, Harmony, Originality, Innovation, Invention, Rarity, Seduction, Talent Management) has now reached its 17th edition.

Other Activities
On 14 June last, Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte attended the Working session of Artistic Crafts International Charter, in the venue of Confartigianato-Imprese Udine.
On 30 and 31 January, over 130,000 visitors travelled to Aosta's thousand-year old Fair of Sant’Orso, a yearly meeting point for hundreds of craftsmen exhibiting and selling their creations.
