The names of the 20 lucky winners of the Fondazione Cologni's project entitled “A School, a Job. Paths of Excellence” 2018/2019 have been officially announced.
The 7th edition of the “Una Scuola, un Lavoro” (A School, a Job) project, supported by Fondazione Cologni and aimed at tomorrow's young artisans and future masters is now on its way.
On the occasion of the photo exhibition “La regola del talento” in the Royal Palace of Caserta, several educational labs on the crafts world, namely jewellery and goldsmithing, will be offered to students.
The extraordinary stories of every one of the 45 interns participating in the initiative Una Scuola, Un Lavoro 2017-2018, sponsored by the Cologni Foundation for the Métiers d’Art, are now online.
For the academic year 2017-2018, the course Bellezza Italiana at the Design Faculty of the Milan Polytechnic has been renewed. Entrusted to the Cologni Foundation, the course is aimed at the diffusion of knowledge of Italy's immense creative heritage, a crucial element in competing on the luxury-goods market.

On Monday 4 June 2018, an emotion-filled ceremony took place in the Salone d'Onore at the Triennale di Milano. In the presence of a tightly packed audience, the Maestro d'Arte e Mestiere organisation bestowed its title, Master of Arts and Crafts, on 77 maestri. In the festive and at times moving atmosphere of this second edition of the award, the new recipients were applauded warmly by a public from Milan and beyond. They had come to the Triennale to render homage to the talent and inimitable skill of our great artisans.
As part of its initiative "Art Deserves More Space", the Poldi Pezzoli museum is hosting a Porcelain Festival during the months of May and June, featuring a cycle of events for adults and children.

The documentary videos shot by Brevimano, featuring the winners of the Wellmade www.well-made.it contest, which ended on 9 April last, are now online. The categories competing during the first edition were “Furnishing and Decorating” and “Dressing and Adorning”. The winners are Fabrizio Travisanutto from Travisanutto Mosaics and Sandro Barbera & Sons.
Wellmade and Brevimano have launched the first instalment of the competition Artigiano del Cuore. The search is on for the background stories of artisans in two categories: "Furnishing and Decorating" and "Dressing and Adorning". The prize is a photo series and a short documentary telling the story of the two winning artisans, filmed in their ateliers.
As part of its initiative "Il tempo degli orologi", Museo Poldi Pezzoli in Milan is presenting a cycle of events dedicated to time and its measurement, organised with the invaluable support of Orologeria Pisa.
